today I have a photos of my current gel polish manicure to show you.
The colour is IBD Just Gel Polish – Retro Rosette. You can read more about this gel polish in my other post HERE.
On the accent nails I painted some lines using silver holographic glitter mixed with a gel polish top coat and added small rhinestones.
Thank you for coming 🙂
today I have photos of my Fuchsia Nails with Glitter to show you.
For this very simple design I painted my nails with two coats of IBD Just Gel Polish – Retro Rosette and than added dark pink glitter and some chunky glitter in a similar colour.
For a glitter application I used a clean gel brush and dabbed small portion of glitter straight on an uncured thin coat of gel polish top coat.
After curing the coat with glitter I sealed the design with three thin coats of gel polish top coat.
Thank you for coming!
today I have a photos of my summer style gel polish manicure and pedicure.
For this design I used IBD Just Gel Polish – Retro Rosette and silver holographic glitter.
Retro Rosette is a really stunning colour. It is a beautiful creme fuchsia. It gives good coverage with two coats, but here I painted three coats as I usually do. In a sunshine it has a neon undertone which makes it very vibrant, but when the light is dimmed Retro Rosette becomes more like darker magenta.
I did not have any problems with application of Retro Rosette. It did not shrink or pool on the cuticles.
On an accent nail I added silver holographic glitter. After curing a base coat I painted the nail with a thin coat of gel polish top coat and added small amount of glitter with a clean gel brush. After curing this coat I repeated glitter application twice so finally I had three coats of glitter which gave good coverage. The glitter is sealed with two coats of gel top coat.
On my thumbs I painted shiny lines using glitter mixed with a gel polish top coat.
On my feet I made similar design as on my fingernails. I also added small silver stars on a big toenails.
I do not usually have a matching mani and pedi but I like it a lot so I think from now I will do this more often.
Thank you for coming 🙂
Let me first apologize for irregular updates. I hope I will be able to make some more nail designs soon and write more often.
So to the nails topic… This time I made nails with dazzling hexagons. They are kind of really big glitter and are great both for artificial and natural nails. They look really good embedded in gel because they give a feeling of a depth in the design. The advantage of using them on natural nails is that they are very thin and enough flexible to be applied straight on wet nail polish.
The design I made takes only couple of seconds longer than normal nail polish application. I put hexagons straight on wet nail polish organising them in irregular shapes and then applied two layers of top gloss. If some hexagons will stick out outside the nail edge you can cut them with small nail scissors or file them out with mild nail file.
I used fuchsia nail polish with a violet glow so I thought that blue hexagons will fit good here.
In sunlight or stronger artificial light this hexagons shine so bright that the nails look like a discoball.
I think this design is good for summer or a crazy saturday party 🙂
