Cookie Policy

My blog, among many others, is using internet cookies.

What are internet cookies? Cookies are small piece of data that are stored by the browser on a visitor computer, tablet or mobile phone while browsing the web pages. Cookies allow websites to store things like user preferences.

For what I use cookies? I use them for tracking/user analysis. This allows me to see how many people are visiting this blog and uses a third party service such as free Google Analytics and free Piwik web analytics for it. Cookies are also necessary for displaying Google AdSense advertisements on this site. This blog is proudly built on WordPress which also uses cookies. When visitors comment on blog, they too get cookies stored on their computer. This is purely a convenience, so that the visitor won’t need to re-type all their information again when they want to leave another comment.

You can find out more about cookies in Wikipedia: HTTP Cookie. They explain it better than I do.

You can also watch a video by Google explaining what cookies are:

If your web browser is not linked above but you still want to change your cookie settings you can always contact your web browser support center and ask them how to do it.
